About HM Maths
Welcome to HM Maths! I'm Helen, a qualified maths teacher with 13 years experience of teaching maths and supporting students through their GCSE exams.
I work with years 7-11, offering personalised support to help them to build their confidence and succeed in maths.
I'm a specialist GCSE maths tutor, working with students at all levels and with all exam boards. I am an examiner for two exam boards.
I offer group and 1-2-1 tuition, both in person and online.
Outside of education I have been a leader with Girlguiding for 30 years, and currently run Rainbow, Brownie and Guide Units, as well as being a Trainer and a member of the Girlguiding Council. I have previously been the County Commissioner for Girlguiding Cumbria North County.
